The ingredients needed to make Falahari aloo tikki:
- Get 3 medium size boiled potatoes
- Take 1/2 bowl singhare ka atta(water chestnuts flour)
- You need Sendha namak(rock salt) as per taste
- Take Red chilli powder as per taste
- Use 1tbsp cumin seeds(jeera)
- Prepare 6-7 tbsp ghee
- Take For tarmarid chutney
- Get 1 bowl soaked tarmarid
- Use As needed Sugar/jaggery as per taste
- Prepare Pinch red chilli powder
- Prepare 1/4 tbsp sendha namak(rock salt)
- Prepare Green chutney
- Prepare 1 bowl freshly chopped coriander leaves
- Take 1 large size tomato
- Use Small chopped ginger
Instructions to make Falahari aloo tikki:
- In a bowl add boiled potatoes and mash them. Then add 3 tbps of singhare ka atta(water chestnuts flour). And mix it well.
- Now add salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds and mix well
- Take a pan, add 6-7 tbps of ghee and preheat at medium flame.
- Now make round balls of potato stuffing and press slightly.
- Now add these potato tikki in pan. And fry them at medium flame from both side untill they turn golden brown. Falahari tikki is ready.
- For tarmarid chutney in a pan add water of soaked tarmarid, 1/4 tbps sendha namak, pinch of red chilli powder and 6-7 tbps of sugar.
- Give it a boil at high flame, untill it thickens to chutney consistency.
- For green chutney add chopped coriander leaves, sendha namak, red chilli powder, chopped tomato, chopped ginger in mixer jar and grind it to a chutney consistency.
- By this our falahari aloo tikki is ready to serve with tarmarid and Coriander chutney.
