  1. Use 130 g butter
  2. Get 240 ml white sugar
  3. You need 1 egg
  4. Prepare 15 ml vanilla essence

  3. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
  4. Mix in egg, vanilla essence and then stir in cherries
  5. Sift in Flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until combined.
  6. You should have a large ball of dough. Pinch off small amounts of dough and roll into balls between your hands(if you want a bigger biscuits make larger balls).
  7. Place balls on the pre pared baking tray and flatten slightly with a fork.
  8. Bake for about 15minues baking times vary depending on your oven (best to keep an eye on them so the don't burn)
