- Provide 225 g unsalted butter
- Prepare 200 g dark chocolate
- Use 55 g cocoa powder
- Use 100 g milk chocolate, chopped into pieces
- Use 450 g caster sugar
- Use 110 g plain flour
- You need 4 large eggs
- Get 200 g glacé cherries, halved
- Provide 100 ml Amaretto

- Turn the oven on to fan 160C/conventional 180C/gas 4 and grease and/or line a 30cm by 20cm tin
- Cut all of the butter into small cubes and tip into a large pan. Melt over a low heat and stir in the sugar

- Add the flour, cocoa powder and eggs and mix thoroughly

- Add the milk chocolate pieces, stir really well and then pour the mixture into the tin
- Bake for 35-40 minutes. You'll know they're done by popping a skewer into the centre and it coming out clean
